Igniting Scientific Curiosity: Top Kathmandu Colleges Battle for Glory at +2 Science Quiz

KATHMANDU – In a vibrant display of academic excellence and competitive spirit, the +2 Science Quiz successfully concluded on 7th Falgun 2082 at the KMC premises in Bagbazar. The event was jointly organized by College Readers and HISSAN Kathmandu, in association with Model Institute of Technology (MIT).
The competition brought together some of the brightest young minds from across the valley, aiming to foster scientific temperament and quick thinking among plus-two students.
The formal program was chaired by Mr. Gopi Raj Parajuli, Senior Vice President of HISSAN Kathmandu. The event was further graced by the presence of Mr. RK Dahal, CEO of Model Institute of Technology (MIT), who attended as a special guest.
To ensure transparency and clarity, Mr. Jeetendra Ghimire, CEO of College Readers, provided an in-depth briefing on the quiz rules, scoring systems, and technical procedures. The entire event was seamlessly moderated by Mr. Keshav Nepal, Editor of College Readers, whose hosting kept the energy high throughout the intense rounds.
After several rounds of challenging questions spanning Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, four institutions emerged at the top of the leaderboard:

Beyond the immediate glory of the trophies, the organizers emphasized the long-term benefits for the participants.

In a significant announcement, it was revealed that all participants were awarded certificates of participation. More importantly, the event paved the way for substantial scholarship opportunities for these students as they transition into higher studies following their plus-two education.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from the chair, praising the students' dedication and the collaborative effort of HISSAN, College Readers, and MIT in promoting educational excellence in Nepal.
