KATHMANDU – As the rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence reshapes global landscapes, HISSAN Bagmati Province is set to host a high-level academic seminar titled "The Role of Human-Centered Education in the AI & Digital Era." The program aims to bridge the gap between technological advancement and ethical pedagogy, ensuring that the future of education remains rooted in human values.
Event Logistics and Objective
The seminar will take place on 27th March 2026 at the Best Western Hotel, Pinglasthan, starting at 2:00 PM. Chaired by Raj Kumar Acharya, President of HISSAN Bagmati Province, the event will welcome Yuvraj Sharma, President of Central HISSAN, as the Chief Guest. The primary objective is to equip approximately 200 academic leaders and educationists with the tools to navigate the digital shift without compromising moral and social foundations.
Distinguished Speakers and Themes
The program features a diverse panel of experts from India and Nepal to provide a holistic perspective on digital transformation:
- International Perspectives: Dr. Ashok Daryani (SGI) and Prof. Dr. Anviti Gupta (Sharda University) will lead discussions on the global necessity of human-based education in the digital age.
- Technical Insights: AI Expert Engineer Pravin Gautam will conduct a specialized workshop focusing on the practical application of AI in modern classrooms.
- Ethics and Society: Advocate Shringa Rishi Kafle will address the vital need for value-based moral education, while Ramesh K. Silwal, Chief Advisor of HISSAN, will speak on social valuation and the human element in learning.
The event will conclude with a dinner fellowship and cocktail party, providing a networking platform for the nation’s leading educators to collaborate on future academic frameworks.
