HISSAN Bagmati Hosts Seminar on Human-Centered Education in AI Era

Kathmandu — HISSAN Bagmati Province, in collaboration with Sharda University, successfully organized a one-day training seminar titled “The Role of Human-Centered Education in the AI and Digital Era” at Best Western Hotel, Pinglasthan, Kathmandu, on 27th Chaitra 2082.

The program brought together around 200 participants, including academic leaders, educators, and stakeholders, to discuss the evolving landscape of education in the age of artificial intelligence. The session commenced at 2:00 PM and concluded at 6:00 PM, followed by networking, dinner, and a cocktail reception.

Prof. Dr. Anvita Gupta, Dean at Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences, highlighted the importance of integrating human values with advancing digital technologies. Ramesh Kumar Silwal, Chief Advisor of Central HISSAN, emphasized the preservation of social values alongside modern educational practices. Dr. Ashok Daryani shared insights into Sharda University’s international academic opportunities.
Advocate Shringa Rishi Kafle spoke on value-based moral education, stressing ethics in the digital era, while Praveen Gautam, AI Team Leader at Trust Bridge Capital Nepal, delivered practical training on AI applications. Kabita Joshi from Shikhar Insurance provided awareness on insurance literacy, and Prof. Dr. Mohit Sahni shared information on PhD programs at Sharda University.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Yuvraj Sharma, President of Central HISSAN, and chaired by Raj Kumar Acharya, President of HISSAN Bagmati. Welcome remarks were delivered by Anand Kumar Yadav, while Madan Kumar Subedi hosted the program.
Appreciation letters were also awarded to HISSAN Center, Province, District and Municipal Committee Heads, making the event both insightful and impactful.







Similarly, tokens of appreciation were presented to the Chief Guest and distinguished guests by HISSAN Bagmati Province.
