Choose Carefully, Choose Uniglobe Premier School

Dr. Nar Bahadur Bista, Chairman of Uniglobe Premier School and Principal of Uniglobe College, sees Grade XI and XII as a decisive pre-university foundation, not merely a route to board results. In this exclusive interview with Jeetendra Ghimire, CEO of College Readers, he explains why Uniglobe has launched Science and Management at Plus Two level through Uniglobe Premier School. He highlights quality teachers, individual care, modern infrastructure, IT, AI, robotics, personality development, communication skills, and practical exposure as pillars of future-ready education. For him, students should choose subjects and institutions through interest, capacity, environment, long-term career vision, and trusted academic systems with confidence, clarity, informed judgment, and responsible parental guidance.

Uniglobe is already known for higher education. Why introduce Plus Two through Uniglobe Premier School?

We have long experience in developing institutions. Global College of Management, Uniglobe Secondary School, Valley View School, and Uniglobe College were built through our management vision. At New Baneshwor, our BBA and MBA programs under Pokhara University have become a model in Nepal. Parents and community members repeatedly asked us to bring the same academic culture to school and Plus Two level here. We had the infrastructure, teachers, reputation, and management capacity, so we launched classes XI and XII in Science and Management within the Uniglobe College premises.

What makes this +2 program unique?

Our uniqueness begins with responsibility. Once we accept students, we do not compromise on quality. We appoint capable, experienced, reputed teachers and follow a system where every student must learn, not only the toppers. The whole class should progress. Teachers work with individual care and must assure both management and guardians that each student’s academic strength is improving. Strong grades and good transcripts matter, but they are not enough. We equally focus on personality development, communication, presentation, sports, field visits, excursions, and wider exposure. Our aim is multidimensional growth.

How will Uniglobe maintain its established quality?

Quality comes from systems, not slogans. The discipline that produced strong outcomes in our school, Plus Two, BBA, and MBA programs will guide Uniglobe Premier School. We will also upgrade the model according to today’s needs. Plus Two students require a powerful university foundation. Therefore, we are emphasizing IT, science exploration, innovation, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Students must not remain limited to textbooks. They should understand concepts, use technology, solve problems, and build confidence. After Plus Two, they should be capable enough to move anywhere and perform well.

How has the admission response been?

The response has been highly encouraging. Because of Uniglobe’s reputation and the quality we have delivered, students and parents have shown strong trust. New Baneshwor is central and convenient for transportation. Society has recognized our contribution, and the response is better than expected. We are admitting students through a selection process. Except in special situations, we are selecting sincere, capable students who can benefit from this academic environment.

Many SEE graduates are confused about subject choice. What should they understand?

They should first understand that Grade XI and XII are pre-university education. This decision influences future direction. Students should not choose subjects only because friends, relatives, or neighbors suggest them. They must examine interest, capacity, aim, and destination. Science opens many doors, especially for capable and interested students. However, Physics and Mathematics can be challenging, so ability matters. Management is also strong. Students interested in business, CA, leadership, entrepreneurship, and organizational management can confidently choose it. Today, Management students can also enter IT and several technical areas, though not medicine or engineering.

Is Science still the broader pathway?

Yes, if the student is capable and interested, Science gives wider flexibility. It can lead to medicine, engineering, IT, research, management, and many other fields. But interest is vital. No student should be forced into a subject against his or her desire. If someone clearly wants to become a manager, entrepreneur, CA, or business leader, Management is right. If the future is uncertain and the student can handle Science, Science keeps more options open.

What should parents examine while choosing an institution?

Parents should first look at the academic environment, because environment shapes discipline, confidence, and habits. Second, they should examine physical facilities: laboratories, computer labs, classrooms, sports infrastructure, and learning resources. Third, they should study activities beyond regular classes. Education is not only marks; it is personality, skills, exposure, values, and preparation for higher studies. They should also review results and teacher quality. At Uniglobe, we have strong results, excellent infrastructure, and some of Nepal’s best teachers. That is why we can confidently assure quality and outcomes.

How can Nepal make Plus Two more globally standard?

We must connect Plus Two with global realities. Students need subject knowledge, but also communication, critical thinking, digital skills, innovation, research habits, and practical exposure. Institutions must invest in laboratories, technology, teacher development, and student-centered pedagogy. AI, robotics, IT, and science innovation should not remain extra topics; they should become learning culture. With a global mindset and strong foundation, Nepali students can compete anywhere. The classroom must encourage questions, experiments, teamwork, and confidence. If our Plus Two programs create curiosity, practical ability, and ethical responsibility, they will not only prepare students for university, but also for life and leadership.

Finally, what message do you offer?

Choose carefully. Look at quality, results, teachers, environment, infrastructure, and future preparation. At Uniglobe Premier School, we have strong human resources, modern facilities, science and computer labs, sports infrastructure, and a proven system. We are committed to giving students not only good grades but confidence, skills, discipline, and direction. Parents and students can join without hesitation. We take responsibility seriously and guarantee meaningful education. Our promise is to guide every learner with care, discipline, and opportunity, so that the journey from school to university becomes smoother, stronger, and more purposeful for every young mind.
