Mid-West University Holds Third Convocation Ceremony, Confers Degrees to 3,841 Students

Surkhet, Nepal – Mid-West University celebrated its third convocation ceremony today, with 3,841 students from various faculties and levels receiving their degrees. The event, held at the university's central office in Birendranagar, was presided over by Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli.
The convocation honored graduates from diverse fields, including Science and Technology, Management, Engineering, Law, Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Among the graduates, 2,189 completed undergraduate programs, while 1,663 students were awarded postgraduate degrees. Additionally, 19 students were recognized for completing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the Management faculty.
Prime Minister Oli also took the opportunity to award prizes to outstanding students for their academic achievements. The ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. Mahendra P. Lama, a distinguished senior professor from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India, who attended as the chief guest.
The convocation marks a significant milestone for Mid-West University, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence and the development of skilled professionals in various disciplines.
