Educational institutions, particularly those in the private sector, play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality and practical education. To achieve this, private sector-run institutions have come together to form a common platform, and HISSAN serves as a unifying force in this regard. Leaders at both the provincial and central levels of HISSAN are actively contributing to this platform in their own ways. It is undeniable that the private sector has made significant contributions to the nation, especially in the field of education. Within Bagmati Province, we have successfully unified private schools, colleges, and universities to address common challenges and work toward shared solutions. Our focus is on advancing resources, improving educational quality, and creating an environment that encourages students to pursue their education within the country. Both HISSAN Bagmati and central HISSAN play pivotal roles in these efforts, with the primary goal of fostering unity, providing training programs for educators, and enhancing the overall quality of education.

Challenges are inevitable, but we have made concerted efforts to minimize them through proactive initiatives. For instance, we have coordinated with the Ministry of Education and the Government of Nepal to address issues related to the quality of education in both foreign and domestic universities, as well as in schools. Our approach has been collaborative—we have presented suggestions and requests rather than making unilateral demands. Additionally, foreign universities have supported us by offering motivational training, accounting training, AI training, and other programs for colleges in Bagmati Province. 

The primary goal of HISSAN Bagmati is to unite its members, keep them focused, and motivate them to work toward common objectives. From what we have observed, we have successfully fulfilled the responsibilities assigned to us by central HISSAN. However, we hope that the new executive committee will take this work to even greater heights. Leadership is not just about holding a position; it is about taking action and driving meaningful change. While the principals and directors of schools and colleges in Bagmati Province are highly capable, there is a need for individuals with strong leadership qualities to step forward and address the significant challenges we face. Effective leadership requires a focus on problem-solving and the ability to navigate complex issues.

The involvement HISSAN in university education appears to be comparatively lower. This discrepancy highlights the need for greater alignment and representation from universities and their affiliated colleges. To address this, we must encourage greater participation from universities and ensure that their concerns are adequately represented. This convention is a festive occasion and a gathering of minds dedicated to the advancement of education. I extend a heartfelt invitation to all principals, directors, and members of colleges under our organization, as well as new participants, to join the second convention of HISSAN Bagmati. 

I sincerely thank the founding committee of HISSAN Bagmati for their leadership in ensuring a smooth transition. My best wishes go to the aspiring leaders dedicated to advancing higher education in Nepal and guiding it toward a brighter future.
