There should be two students in one team and a maximum of seven teams from one school/college can participate in the quiz.
+2 Quiz Program Overview |
The +2 Science Quiz is an academic competition designed to align with the NEB syllabus and competitive entrance exams. These quizzes aim to inspire academic excellence among students, motivating them to excel in their Grade XII finals and laying a solid foundation for successful higher education pursuits.
Having successfully organized six editions of similar academic quizzes, College Readers is proud to launch the second edition of the +2 Science quiz. The competition will roll out nationwide starting Poush.

Format |
The quiz typically consists of multiple rounds, each focusing on different aspects of Physics, Chemistry Biology, and Mathematics. This may include multiple-choice questions, theoretical problem-solving, practical applications, and team dynamics.
Exam Application |
Questions have been designed to assist students acquire the highest grade in grade XII final examinations and higher study entrance examinations. Some questions assess participants' understanding of how concepts of science are applied in real-world scenarios. Questions will also include audio and visuals.

The quiz is designed to boost competitive spirit and brush up students’ cognition. A varied range of scholarships to study bachelor’s programs, handsome cash prizes, and various opportunities entice students to participate in the quiz with top competitive spirit.

Apart from the competitive aspect, +2 Science Quiz provides valuable educational opportunities for participants to learn new concepts, and expand their horizons of academic pursuits and professional networks by interacting with like-minded individuals and institutions of their choice.
Eligibility Criteria |
- Grade XII Students:
- Students from Grade XII Science (both Physical and Bio groups) are eligible for the +2 Science Quiz.
- Official Documents:
- Participants must present an official letter of recommendation from their school/college.
- A valid payment voucher is required for registration.
- Team Composition:
- Each team must consist of two students.
- A maximum of seven teams from a single school/college can participate in the +2 Science Quiz.
- Dress Code:
- All contestants are required to wear their school uniforms during the quiz event.
Program Outline |
- Introductory Session: Insights on higher study prospects and career guidance in Nepal.
- Quiz Competition: A platform to demonstrate knowledge and teamwork.
- Prize Distribution: Recognition of winners with awards and scholarships.
Qualifying Rounds |
The qualifying rounds of the +2 Science Quiz will be conducted across fifteen regions: Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Pokhara, Chitwan, Butwal, Dang, Surkhet, Dhangadhi, Mahendranagar, Birgunj, Janakpur, Biratnagar, Itahari, and Birtamode.
In the first phase, sixteen teams will qualify through a paper-based quiz in each region. These teams will then compete in regional rounds, where the top four teams from each region will advance to the final round. The final competition will take place in Kathmandu after the Grade XII board exams.
Final Round |
- From the Qualifying Rounds, 8 teams will be selected from each region, except Kathmandu.
- In Kathmandu, 16 teams will qualify for the final round.
- A total of 132 teams will compete in the grand finale, which will be held in Kathmandu.
- The final competition will take place after the completion of the Grade XII board examinations.
