A prestigious ceremony honoring university leadership took place at The Malla Hotel, Kathmandu, on February 18th, 2024. College Readers conferred the "University Vice-Chancellor & Registrar Commendation Accolade" upon distinguished recipients.
The esteemed Rt. Hon'ble Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, Chairperson of the National Assembly of Nepal, presented the awards based on the recommendations of a distinguished jury led by Prof. Dr. Bhim Prasad Subedi, Former Chairperson of UGC.
The program, under the chair of Mr. Bhawani Prasad Paudel, patron of College Readers, was expertly coordinated by College Readers' CEO, Mr. Jeetendra Ghimire, and hosted by the Editor, Mr. Keshav Nepal.
Rigorous Selection Process Identifies Exceptional Leaders
The evaluation committee meticulously established a two-tiered selection process to recognize the remarkable contributions of Vice-Chancellors and Registrars nearing the end of their terms, as well as those currently serving with distinction.

Best Vice-Chancellor of the Year: This esteemed recognition was presented to Prof. Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Mid-West University.

Best Registrar of the Year: The commendable title of Best Registrar of the Year was conferred upon Dr. Tilak Ram Acharya, Registrar of Lumbini Buddhist University.
Accolades for Leaders with Ongoing Terms
Promising Vice-Chancellor of the Year: This recognition for future leadership potential was awarded to Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University.
