Nepal Education Award Dubai-2022: College Readers accolades schools & colleges in Dubai

College Readers awarded 35 schools and colleges and 16 educational entrepreneurs the highly coveted Nepal Education Award (Dubai)-2022 on 13th October 2022 at Sheraton Hotel, Dubai. The program was graced by Dr. Aasif Ali Siddiqui, Chairman of Nepal Business Council, Dubai as the Chief Guest, Mohamad Husein, Joint Secretary of Government of Dubai as the Guest of Honor, and Prof. Dr. Dipak Bdr. Shakya, Vice Chancellor of Madesh Pradesh University, as the Special Guest.
College Readers, the only English educational magazine rendering its services continuously for 15 years and promoting and advocating academic issues, organized Nepal Education Award Ceremony-2022 in October. It was an initiative taken to explore and recognize the overall educational development of the nation. Academic entrepreneurs’ foregrounding and their effort to acknowledge or good cause leverage quality enhancement and nation-building. This award event focused on identifying and promoting their expertise and recognizing their continuous endeavors.

Conducting an educational award Program in a highly developed foreign land has a big meaning. Nepalese academia was trapped in perils for more than two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic and academicians were in search of refreshment and recreation. This award event provided an atmosphere where participants and awardees enjoyed international exposure and flavor. The major achievement of this award event was that it strengthened mutual interaction and fellowship among the stakeholders, which was much sought before.
Nepal Education Award-2022 is indiscriminately awarded the deserving institutions and individuals based on the evaluation frameworks set by our expert evaluation team led by Prof. Dr. Dipak Bahadur Bhandari, Registrar of Pokhara University, etc. Its main aim was to provide a platform for prestigious Nepalese schools, colleges, and educational institutions to applaud their academic excellence and expose their hidden benchmarks.
College Readers, serving the Nepali academia for more than one and half decades, has researched on schools and colleges scientifically and set the evaluation criteria on the advice of experts and educationists; as a result, the following schools/colleges and educational entrepreneurs were selected for high accolades.
The awardees were found highly honored to receive such prestigious awards in recognition of their invaluable contributions to the Nepalese education sector. Jagannath Devkota from Jaya Multiple Campus, Dr. Rajendra KC from Southwestern State College, Subas Neupane from Apex Life School, Er. Hari Bhandari from Oxford College of Engineering and Management, Dr. Nar Bahadur Bista from Uniglobe College, Janaranjan Devkota from Manakanama School, and Nisha Bhatt from Brixton College expressed their happiness and wished that College Readers would continue acknowledging the contributions of educational institutions in the days to come.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Prof. Dr. Dipak Bahadur Shakya appreciated the convener for recognizing and honoring the academicians and educational institutions in a foreign land expressed his deep concern over the poor infrastructural development of Nepal and urged all the fellow participants to replicate good lessons in Nepal.
While addressing the program, the Chief Guest Dr. Aasif Ali Siddique recalled his upbringing and education in Nepal and appreciated teachers who molded him to be a successful person. He suggested that all the academicians and policymakers involved in the event program to replicate the Desert Safari model to Nepal as Mountain Safari.
The program was chaired by Mr. Ram Hari Silwal, Chief Editor of College Readers and Vice President of Central HISSAN whereas Mr. Bhawani Prasad Paudel, patron of College Readers and Central Member of HISSAN, conducted the event whereas Jeetendra Ghimire, CEO of College Readers and the convenor of Nepal Education Award Ceremony welcomed the awardees and participants.
The event rendered all the awardees and participants an exciting experience.
