Kanntipur HISSAN Edufair kicks off from Tomorrow


Kathmandu: The 8th Kantipur HISSAN Edufair will be held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu from tomorrow. The organizer held a press conference on Tuesday and said that the preparations for the educational fair have been completed. A 4-day edufair is going to be held from Jestha 32 to Asar 3, targeting SEE result awaiting students as well as grade twelve exam appeared students.

Edufair Coordinator Tanka Raj Acharya informed that Edufair was organized with the aim of providing the right information to the students and parents about the course and colleges. “Due to the lack of proper information and counseling about the quality and excellent education provided by the educational institutions in Nepal, confusion about which subject to study and how to choose the subject, as well as the attraction of some students and parents for abroad study, a large amount of money has been spent abroad for education,” said the statement issued by Acharya.  To provide detailed information about quality education to students and parents, HISSAN has been organizing the edufair for the last 7 years, said Acharya.

It is informed that more than 75 plus two schools, colleges, and technical institutions will participate in the fair. He said that for the first time, Kathmandu University is also going to participate in the fair. Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools’ Association Nepal (HISSAN) and Kanitpur Publications have jointly organized the edufair. The organizer expects that more than two lakh visitors will observe the edufair. The fair opens from 10am to 5pm for the next four days. Entry is free for all.
