PABSON 15th National Convention to be held on Chaitra 9th and 10th

Kathmandu, Falgun 26: Private and Boarding Schools’ Organization, Nepal (PABSON) is preparing to hold its national convention with the slogan ‘Education with Skills, Culture and Technology for skilled human resources. The 15th National Convention is going to be held on March 26 and 27 at Nepal Academy Hall.

PABSON issued a press conference on Thursday reads that the leadership chosen by the upcoming national convention will be unanimous.

President Tikaram Puri said that politics would not be inserted in PABSON as it is not the past tradition and would follow the democratic norms. He hoped that there would be unanimity; if the candidates fail to be unanimous, they will contest individually without any panel.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is invited to inaugurate the convention which will use the electoral machine first time in PABSON’s history. Likewise, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel will inaugurate the PABSON’s central office building purchased at 14 crores rupees on that day at 8.30 am.

Similarly, ‘PABSON Unified Settlement’ built for the Koshi River flood victims at the one bigaha land provided by Ramdhuni Municipality of Sunsari district constructed at 1 crore fifty lakhs rupees contributed by PABSON member schools will be handed over on Chaitra 1, 2078.

The 15th National Convention will elect a 66-member working committee, including 27 executives and 39 members, for a three-year term.
