Kathmandu, Jan. 16: The government has directed to close schools, universities, colleges, tuition/training center or other types of activities till January 31. The government has issued an order 2078 for the prevention and treatment of Omicron variant of Covid-19.
Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki issued a new 36-point Order 2078 for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. He further instructed to run such educational activities using virtual or alternative teaching and learning methods.
Similarly, pre-determined examinations of schools, colleges, human -resource recruitment examinations, foreign language examinations to be conducted for foreign employment and all kinds of practical classes of medical education must be conducted following the public health standards and health protocols.
