How is Apollo imparting education to the students to heighten their academic level?
AIC has a team of dedicated faculty members with diverse academic and research backgrounds who deal with all kinds of academic issues. The college aims to develop leadership skills, creativity and entrepreneurship in the students to prepare them to face the future challenges of business. We believe in students-centered teaching and learning methodology. Its teaching methodology is based on application of modern equipment and real-life experiences. It manages to impart appealing education through updated teaching and learning techniques that encapsulate active classroom participation, interaction between students and faculties, workshop and report writing. We always adhere to quality enhancement through a range of activities like group discussion, class participation, guest lectures, audio-visual aids, project and presentation, field trips and excursions, internship, workshop, etc.
How is the condition of employability of the graduates of Apollo International College in the global market?
We have produced five batches in BBA and eight semester of BBA-BI is running. We introduced BHM program last year. We have a number of students performing well being in the dean’s list every year. The employability of our graduates is very impressive. The regular passed out students are properly involved in the reputed jobs and posts. None of our graduates are sitting awkwardly being unemployed. Most of the students are involved in banking, corporate, finance sectors and some are holding their own business firms.
What about the distinct features of Pokhara University concerning management sectors?
Pokhara University has higher quantity of students after Tribhuvan University. The relationship and coordination of the university with the private affiliated colleges is very impressive. There are quite a lot of improvements in the examination system of the University. The University has full trust and faith on the colleges running the specialized courses. The University offers those programs which are saleable in the global market.
Apart from the existing traits of the University, what other possible improvements should be made in the management sector?
The university should focus more on the improvements of the examination system. The faculty members should be provided with proper training and seminar for the updated syllabi. There must be an evaluation and supervision system from the dean office about the performance and activities of the colleges. There must be the proper flow of information from the colleges and the dean office.
What suggestions would you give students wishing to pursue higher education in an outstanding college?
First of all, the students should know about the University, colleges before their enrolment. Similarly, they should also be familiar with the course content, fee structures before choosing any subjects in any colleges. Bachelor level studies are related to career pursuits, so, the students of this level should be sanguine to figure out their rewarding careers. Moreover, the students should understand and be up to date about their preferred subjects and colleges.
