Students studying in grades 9 and 10 and students preparing for SEE are eligible for participating in the quiz contest
Nepal School Mela, Nepal’s largest virtual education fair in school level will conduct an online quiz contest considering the students studying in class nine and ten and those preparing for SEE. Online Quiz Contest to be conducted through online during the pandemic of Covid-19 is the first competition in Nepal.
Interested students studying in class 9 and 10 and students preparing for SEE will be able to participate in this competition. They have to register the application form by 20th Jestha, 2078 to participate in this contest. Every contest should attach the letter of recommendation of the concerned school while registering. The program will be formally conducted from 23rd of Jestha, says the organizing committee. Only one student will participate from one school for the quiz contest, informed Jeetendra Ghimire, CEO of Nepal School Mela.
Questions are designed and prepared in a way to support the students of secondary level. According to Arjun Chapagain, Quiz Coach of this Contest, Geography, History, Science and Technology, Religion and Culture, Games and Entertainment International Affairs, Maths & IQ, Current Affairs and miscellaneous topics are major areas for selection of questions.
This online quiz contest through Zoom can be watched live from the official facebook page of Nepal School Mela- https://www.facebook.com/nepalschoolmela . The first place winner will be awarded Rs 25,000, second place winner Rs 15,000 and third place winner Rs 10,000, said Deepika Rimal Thapa, coordinator of the fair. It is also stated that consolation prizes will be given to three persons at the rate of Rs 3,000 each. Participation Certificates will be provided to each candidate.
Every day a warm up online quiz competition is being held from the official Facebook page of Nepal School Mela with various gifts hampers and cash prizes. Interested students who are studying in class 9 and 10 and preparing for SEE will be able to participate. Every day at 5 pm a warm up question will be posted on the facebook page of Nepal School Mela. Students participating in the competition will have to write their answer in the comment box and one will be declared the winner through lucky draw at 5 o’clock the next day.
Nepal School Mela is being organized in collaboration with PABSON and various organizations including N-PABSAN. The fair is organized by College Readers, top-notch educational magazine of Nepal.
