The Ministry of Health and Population has appealed to the general public not to go to crowded areas.

On Thursday, the ministry appealed not to gather in all the areas that are crowded in the most sensitive areas.

The ministry has made such an appeal realizing ‘my health is my responsibility’.

The ministry has identified Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kaski, Rupandehi, Chitwan, Banke, Parsa, Morang, Dang, Surkhet, Bara and Baglung districts as highly sensitive.

It has been pointed out that all the congested areas and services in those districts should be shut down immediately.

However, the ministry has unwittingly appealed to close all those areas.

Places not to be missed include schools, night businesses, restaurants, clubs, sports, gyms after seven o’clock, public worship, processions, gatherings, conferences, meetings, cinema halls, shopping malls, dance halls, party palaces, swimming pools, and health clubs.

Stating not to participate in such areas, the ministry has also requested strict adherence to public health standards. In addition, the ministry has requested hospitals to run fever clinics, collect and manage samples for Covid testing.
