The first convention of the Forum for Health and Technical Sciences Lumbini Provincial Committee has elected a new executive committee under the chairmanship of Prakash Rana. The convention held at Tilottama in Rupandehi on Friday elected Revati Singh as Vice-President, Resham Giri as Secretary and Ganesh Prasad Gyawali as Treasurer.
Likewise, Jeevan Bhandari, Chetan Bhandari, Sharad Bhusal, Kishor Pandey and Sudhakar Mishra have been elected as the members of the executive committee. The Forum for Health and Technical Sciences, an umbrella organization of privately run diploma-level programs affiliated to CTEVT, operates more than 40 institutions in 12 districts of Lumbini Province. Newly elected chairperson Rana said that educational programs on about 73 subjects are being conducted in those institutions.
