Completion of ‘Meet for Constructive Future Season-2’ with a huge success

Thursday, 25 Feb: KDBC, a leading business school has been offering many skilled based practical exposures and learning to its students. In order to encourage participants to look into their future perspectives and potentials to lead, honing and testing their management gaining business acumen, KDBC has been organizing events and activities that are relevant to the need of students. A panel discussion entitled Meet For Constructive Future Season-2organized on 25 Feb at Hotel Radisson with the motive of encouraging the youths to try and materialize their dreams. The KDBC Panel Discussion 2021 Meet For Constructive Future Season-2 was themed on Youths contribution in Nation Building. The program was supported by Machhapuchhre Bank Ltd. as title sponsored, and supported by Rastirya Banijya Bank as Banking Partner, Dish Home and Sagarmatha Cement as Co-Sponsors. The event was managed by Relevant Management Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Badal Pradhan, principal of the college  in his welcoming  speech, highlighted on the fact that Nepal needs to focus, develop and shape the youths in positive engagements and build sense of responsibility to contribute in the nation’s well being.

The Panel Discussion on the theme – Youths’ Contribution in Nation Building had panelists highlighting on the need of youths staying back in the nation and help it grow better. H.E. Nona Deprez, E.U. Ambassador to Nepal, said that Nepal has huge potential and EU has been supporting Nepalese in every way possible. Anushka Shrestha, Miss Nepal World 2019, encouraged the youths with her own entrepreneurial experiences. Similarly, Mr. Bibhusan Bista, CEO-Young Innovation, believes that an entrepreneur isn’t just a business person but rather is someone who steps in and takes action.

Mahesh Swar, Director-Citizen Life insurance emphasized on the need for passion and dedication to be successful. Similarly, Sudeep Acharya, MD – Dish Home, when asked about social entrepreneurship, said that entrepreneur should not make money for the sake of it but in a way that all the stake holders are benefitted.

To conclude the event, Ms. Rashmi Sharma Mainali, Director  of the college, emphasized on the  importance of such discussions in the life of students in knowing the real life business situations and gave best wishes to all in organizing committee and vote of thanks to the Chief Guest and dignitaries. Moderator, Mr. Rajan Koirala and Emcee, Ms. Medha Koirala made the program interesting and smooth-sailing. The event was made appealing by musical and dance performances by BBA and MBA students of the college.

The participants including students, guests, faculty and management, all enjoyed the discussion alike and cheered the event. More than 10000 viewers viewed the discussion through different online sources.
