International Engineering Conference at UTech College, Bharatpur

Chitwan, Falgun-8: An International Engineering Conference on Sustainable Engineering and Technology Management has been held at United Technical (U-Tech) College in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11.
An international e-conference was held on Friday focusing on how to solve social problems through engineering and technology. Principal of U-Tech College, Prof. Dr. Keshav Dutta Awasthi said that the conference has raised the level of education in Chitwan and Nawalpur areas to a higher level. Stating that the college is conducting engineering studies at post-graduate level, Awasthi said that working papers have been submitted by engineers from home and abroad who are involved in new research. According to Awasthi, the first international conference on engineering and technology management was held in Chitwan. Prof. Tekraj Gyawali of Nepal, who was the keynote speaker at the conference, spoke on ‘Engineering Colleges are the backbone of Nepal’s infrastructure development’ and Dr Gary Blair from London spoke on ‘Technology and the Environment: An Outline for Symbolic Relationships’. At the conference, more than 15 engineers from home and abroad presented working papers on the latest inventions in sustainable engineering and technology management, said Engineer Sulabh Adhikari, Technical Manager of the conference.
