XcelTrip OTA is a full online travel platform which is called OTA, online travel aggregate. It was established in 2016 in the USA. Currently, it is extending its network globally to 14 countries and about 1.5 million hotels and 400+ airline companies have joined this campaign. It provides booking and on-board facilities globally on a reserve basis. It has been providing trustworthy and satisfactory service to travelers of various countries.
XcelTrip OTA Pvt. Ltd. Nepal has been established with an objective to empower local hoteliers by providing them with latest technology information and marketing skills to connect them with millions of regional and international travelers.
“XcelTrip has maintained a close coordination with all categories of hotels in Nepal, but these hotels should give us quality assurance abiding by our institutional policies”, he states. He informed that the XcelTrip is going to sign an MOU with Buddha, Tara, Yeti and Himalayan Airlines within a month for air ticketing service.
What are the process of flight booking through excel group?
We have developed a website for booking purpose. Anyone can book by using our website exceltrip.com.np. They can use it by downloading the mobile app from any country of the world including Nepal. Booking can be acceptable by all kinds of debit, credit card and e-sewa.
Your company is an official partner of Visit Nepal-2020. What role can your company play in promoting tourism?
We have spread our service globally. The travelers can visit our website and get service according to their requisites. For the convenience of the visitors, we have been organizing orientation sessions in all hotels of Nepal. Besides, we are cooperating with the government regarding the launching of Visit Nepal-2020 campaign in 180 countries across the globe in close coordination with NTV. For its effective implementation, we have established our station in 14 countries, namely USA, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, India, Malta, London of UK, Italy, Sweden, Thailand, Malaysia etc. This is a nascent business started from the USA in 2016 by us. Currently, it has expanded its market globally. So, our role can be considered significant in promoting tourism by providing trustworthy environment in terms of security and facilities to the tourists in any parts of Nepal and other countries.
To what extent, you envisage, will the campaign be successful?
This is really a new concept which has brought about revolutionary reforms in tour and country visits. In fact, this is not the era of travelling with cash. The tourists do not feel comfortable and secure to travel by carrying cash with them. In this regard, our service has made journey comfortable, secure and trustworthy to world’s tourists. They can pay their visit to any parts of the world without handful of money after registering their names. In addition, our service is available with payment from any bank cards and e-sewa which make their journey easy. We are fully optimistic about its prospects. Still, we have to convey this message to every nook and corner of the world.
The government has aimed at bringing two million tourists through the campaign, Visit Nepal 2020. To what extent are you optimistic about fulfilling the target by the government?
As I have gained an experience in hospitality sector, it is a growing industry in the global context. Nepal is such a country which has high potentiality of the development of tourism due to its natural and cultural diversity. Nepal has been enlisted among the ten countries of the world in terms of best touristic destination. Therefore, it is not difficult for bringing two million tourists to Nepal if we make collective contributions, including each individual Nepali. Furthermore, I commit that we will contribute from our side by delivering decent services through XcelTrip Nepal.
