Janakpur Engineering College (JEC), established in 2058 BS is affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal. It has produced number of engineers since its establishment. It offers Bachelor’s program in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering and Electronics Communication Engineering.
Our all Engineering Degrees are approved by Nepal Engineering Council. The college has been managed by a strong team of professionals and academicians who posses enough experience in educational sectors for a long time.
JEC is a pioneer private institution providing engineering education in Nepal. All the academic and administrative facilities and in fracture have been maintained as per IOE standard. Beside of teaching learning processes, seminars, workshops and trainings are frequently conducted through the semester with field visit, project works and field works. So, JEC assures quality education required for the students in the present context and assists them in pursuing their professional and educational goals.
The institution is committed to providing quality education in various engineering disciplines keeping in mind emerging professional’s needs.
We have state of the art infrastructure to foster academic excellence along with well equipped lab to boost practical knowledge. Moreover, we provide vital non-credit inputs including research and project work, supplementing the regular courses to met the diverse learning needs of students and improves their employability. The college feels proud of all the students who have passed out and have got well deserved positions in different Governmental and non governmental institutions in thecountry and abroad.
College Infrastructure:
The college has its own infrastructure with 71188 square feet area of land and a dedicated building with 40000 square feet of covered area to run all the academic programs with a capacity to accommodate 2000 students.
Class Rooms:
The college owns 20 spacious, neat and well ventilated class rooms that are spread on different floors connected by long corridors that provide a perfect learning atmosphere to the student. Each class can accommodate 50 students and is provided with audio-visual teaching/learning facilities.
Seminar Hall:
We have spacious and well ventilated seminar hall accommodating 250 to 300 students with audio- visual aid and other facilities to conduct regular programs like orientation programmes as well as special programs like extension lectures, guest lectures, personality development classes, and so on.
Library:
We have spacious and well maintained library containing rich text books and reference books readily available for all the students.
Computer Lab:
The computer lab, located on the second floor of College, offers a variety of adjacent spaces and services to support teaching learning needs related to engineering programmes.
Research Lab:
The research lab, located on the top floor of College, is fully equipped with modern computers and has access to internet and bunch of research oriented software.
Laboratory:
The college provides the best laboratory facilities to the students. It includes all the laboratories as required by engineering students for the completion of their Bachelors Degree.
